Moluccan Cockatoo in Carson City, Nevada For Sale

Beautiful Moluccan Cockatoo looking for a new place to call home. She is young (8 years) and was DNA tested at the vet. Positive she is a female. She is super friendly and doesn't have a gender preference. I will not sell her to someone without prior parrot experience. NO APARTMENT living with her! She is loud when she wants to be. Not normally a squawker, but will do it to get your attention. She talks a little and is learning more everyday! If you know anything about this breed of cockatoo, you will know how loud they can be and how needy they can be. She has started to pluck her feathers as I don't have as much time with her as I would like to due to my job, but I have been successful in doing some redirection to help her stop plucking! She has a lot of new growth on her feathers. I feel she would do better with an older person who was/is retired, someone who worked from home, or someone interested in training her and devoting all your spare time to her.
